Snížit kultuře práh

Platform

Snížit práh kultuře was based on a simple idea. Culture should not belong only to those who can easily afford it.

How does it work in practice? The platform connects people who often cannot afford to attend cultural events with institutions and volunteers who want to open culture to a wider audience. These include homeless people, families at risk of poverty, people with physical or mental disabilities, refugees, war veterans, and lonely seniors.

How does the platform work and what is behind it? Its representatives, Pavel Sterec and Kryštof Hanzlík, will tell you all about it.

Pavel Sterec is an artist and educator who, in addition to his own work, has long been involved in social work with homeless people, people with mental illness, and war veterans.

Kryštof Hanzlík is involved in research on addiction, drug policy, and social services, while also working with homeless people. He composes music under the pseudonym toen.
