What is Zlin Design Week?

A weeklong festival full of creativity, inspiration and design. Zlin comes alive with exhibitions, fashion shows, workshops and discussions. A place where young creators, professionals and enthusiasts for creation and design meet each other. 

The festival has been held since 2015 under the auspices of the Faculty of Multimedia Communications of the Tomas Bata University in Zlin.

Who is the festival intended for?

For everyone who enjoys creating, discovering and thinking about design in a different way. Zlin Design Week connects students, experts and the public. In short, everyone who believes that design has the power to change the world around us.

What program does it offer?

Exhibitions, lectures, workshops and also fashion shows. A part of the festival is also an international competition Best in Design, which presents young talents from all over the world. And after dark? Concerts, parties and other accompanying events, which give the festival its unparalleled atmosphere.

When and where does Zlin Design Week take place?

Annually at the beginning of May in Zlin. We aim to connect visitors with the city, its architecture and public spaces. This year’s 12th edition will take place between 6th and 12th May.
