Ester Krtičková
augenblick
Ester attends the Waldorf High School in Semily and has long been involved in clothing design and sewing, including at the Institute of Fashion Design in Prague. In her work, she combines inspiration from a dreamlike world with references to the history of fashion, and she works with both experimentation and concept.
The augenblick collection explores the relationship with fashion, its appeal, and its limits. It focuses on moments when clothing restricts movement and control over one’s own body. Hands are sewn onto gloves or dresses, and fastenings are designed in such a way that the wearer cannot dress without assistance.
The collection thus explores the themes of intimacy, dependence, and situations that arise only within a very personal space.
