ADÉLA BAČOVÁ

Adéla is a multidisciplinary designer from Zlín. She studied at Tomáš Baťa University, where she earned a master’s degree in industrial design in 2016. During her studies, she founded Zlin Design Week, which gradually became the largest student-led project of its kind. She gained her first professional experience at Koma Modular, where she designed the Fashion Line modular collection, for which she received the Red Dot Award. She was one of only 30 young designers worldwide to receive this award without paying a fee.

She has long collaborated with brands such as Urbania and Živý Zlín. One of her newest clients is mmp, where she contributes not only to the development of the product portfolio but also to the brand’s art direction.
At What a Hut, she designs all products, their aesthetics, and functional solutions. She draws much of her inspiration from 20th-century modernism.
