WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE WHEN A COMPANY COLLABORATES WITH STUDENTS?

For the fourth year in a row, the family-owned company LD Seating is showcasing its work on the streets of Zlín as part of the Zlin Design Week festival through an installation located in the KOMA module.

This year’s installation was created in collaboration with first-year students from the Spatial Design Studio at Tomas Bata University in Zlín and is tailored to the new Terra Lounge armchair collection, designed for LD Seating by the renowned Italian studio Orlandini Design.

From nine student proposals developed under the guidance of architect Kamil Koláček, the LD Seating team selected the winning concept by Bára Urbánková. The installation can be seen on Soudní Street in front of the Česká spořitelna building. Come and see it!
