This international exhibition presents dozens of student projects on the theme “less is more,” created in collaboration with universities such as the Technical University of Zvolen, the Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Masaryk University, the University of Algarve, National Taipei University of Technology, and the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design.

The exhibition explores how young artists today view the famous modernist motto attributed to Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. It showcases various approaches to the question of whether minimalism still has a place in the present day, or whether it needs to be reevaluated.

Projects across disciplines—from product and furniture design to graphic and digital design—explore how to work with materials, technologies, and digital space, and where the line lies between simplicity and the loss of diversity.

How do I get to the exhibition?

Public transport: The nearest stop is Zlín, autobusové nádraží. If you are travelling by trolleybus, the closest stops are U zámku and náměstí Práce.
By car: The nearest option is the paid Gahurova car park. Parking in Zlín can generally be difficult, so if possible, we recommend coming on foot instead.
