No matter what\u2019s going on right now, the design is still here! That\u2019s why we are starting Zlin Design Week 2021 – find out what will be ready from 7th to 14th May 2021 in the following article. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although Zlin Design Week 2020 didn\u2019t take place in a way typical for a festival, it was a perfect example of great ideas coming in difficult times! One of those ideas was, for example, DESIGN CANTEEN<\/strong> – a platform associating designers from different fields in the form of a Facebook group. What? You haven\u2019t heard about it yet? Then hurry up and join it at bit.ly\/designKANTYNA<\/a>, everyone is welcomed!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However CANTEEN definitely isn\u2019t all from what\u2019s ready for you, what else is it? This year\u2019s topic is (still) CO-WORK<\/strong>. One of the novelties is an ONLINE exhibition Best in Design<\/strong>, which will be held in an online space from 8th December 2020. The winners of Best in Design 2020 will be presented here, instead of the original offline exhibition in Zl\u00edn. And what\u2019s more, one of the winners might be YOU!<\/strong> So don\u2019t miss the registration, which will start together with the exhibition on 8th December 2020 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From today, it is also possible to register for Opencall for the Zlin Design Week 2021<\/strong> exhibition. Not only Czech designers will participate in its preparation, but also designers from Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, and Serbia, thanks to the ZDW Exhibition Design Lab project, supported by the Visegrad Fund<\/a>. Under the guidance of the experts in the field, representatives of the partner organizations, students, and young designers will create the display solution of the whole exhibition, <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zlin Design Week is already waiting for you, so don\u2019t hesitate and register in time for the Opencall! Its topic is The Most Modest Design<\/strong>, one that affects our daily lives but often remains unnoticed. \u201cSupporting young designers is one of the key activities, which the festival is based on. Therefore we try to find ways to do it as best as we can. I know that many budding artists hesitate whether to engage in similar challenges at all. So, I would like to tell them one thing. Try it. You never know where it might take you in the end and who you may meet during the process.\u201d says the festival director Jitka Smol\u00edkov\u00e1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
