If you have graphic talent and a&nbsp;passion for influencing the design of city promotional items, this challenge is for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What is the competition about?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The goal of the competition is to create original graphic designs for merchandise items celebrating the significant anniversary of the legendary entrepreneur and visionary Tom\u00e1\u0161 Ba\u0165a. Creative individuals can design not only the promotional items themselves but also the visual identity of the entire celebration and its integration into the city\u2019s public spaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Who can participate?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition is open to all graphic designers, artists, students, and professionals who want to contribute their ideas to the celebration of such a&nbsp;significant personality as Tom\u00e1\u0161 Ba\u0165a. There are no age or professional restrictions\u2014what matters is creativity and the courage to present your view of Ba\u0165a&#8217;s&nbsp;legacy in the present day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to participate?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition runs <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-zdw-color\">from February 7, 2025, to February 28, 2025<\/mark><\/strong>. Submit your designs in <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-zdw-color\">PDF<\/mark><\/strong> format (max. 40 MB) to the email address <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-zdw-color\">soutez.zlin@zlindesignweek.com<\/mark><\/strong> with the subject \u201c<strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-zdw-color\">Ba\u0165a 150<\/mark><\/strong>.\u201d Your submission must include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The author&#8217;s&nbsp;name and surname<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The title of the work<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Annotation of the design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A mock-up application sample<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contact details, and if applicable, information about the educational institution or portfolio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>What awaits the winners?<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>A professional jury, composed of representatives from the city of Zl\u00edn and Zlin Design Week, will select the <strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-zdw-color\">top three designs<\/mark><\/strong>, which will be awarded financially:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-zdw-color\"><strong>1st place:<\/strong> 8,000 CZK<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-zdw-color\"><strong>2nd place:<\/strong> 6,000 CZK<\/mark><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-zdw-color\"><strong>3rd place:<\/strong> 4,000 CZK<\/mark><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The winning design will be produced and used for the official promotional materials of the city of Zl\u00edn, which will be distributed through the City Information and Tourist Center.
