Anežka Matějů Mrzílková – portfolio
The Andělé procitají collection draws inspiration from the changing sky — through time, weather, and moods. The designs borrow the sky’s color palette: from stormy greys to golden sunrays. Dresses are adorned with hand-beaded embroidery, ceramic appliqués, and drapery, reflecting the sky’s captivating atmosphere.
All pieces are made exclusively from deadstock fabrics and recycled materials, merging aesthetics with a mindful approach to sustainability. The experience is enhanced not only by jewelry but also by scent of Myskino perfumes — as models move through the space, they leave behind a delicate trail of perfumes designed to correspond with the various phases of the sky.

Materials and Sustainability

Quick questions
What materials do you like working with the most, and which do you hate?

Which celebrity would you like to dress?
„Lady Gaga.”
What do you most often have to restock at the haberdashery?
“Sewing machine needles. I’ve learned to replace them after every project, which has greatly improved my stitching quality.”
Best sewing lifehack?
“Iron everything and often — it paradoxically saves time.”
How many cups of coffee do you drink a day?
“Just one, I have a fast metabolism and couldn’t handle more.”

“Trends in general, because they kill creativity and are unsustainable. But specifically, mirrored sunglasses.”

“Hunter Schafer or Linda Bartošová.”

“A women’s costume — blazer with trousers or a skirt.”
Weirdest fashion trend you love?

If you were a piece of clothing, what would you be?
“An evening gown — I’d rest in the closet most of the year, then be the center of attention.”
What outfit best represents 2025, in your opinion?
“Boho style — flowy summer dresses.”
Your sewing nightmare?
“That something won’t fit the body properly. And of course, when the machine stops working — thankfully my husband can fix it now.”
Who would you send the fashion police after?
“Anyone wearing clothes with big brand logos. That indicates a terrible taste in my opinion.”
