Festival accessibility
Within the festival, which itself follows inclusive design approaches, we try to make each programme accessible to as wide a range of visitors as possible. Almost all the spaces are wheelchair accessible and the main parts of the programme, such as the Best in Design Ceremony, are interpreted into English.
We also take accessibility into account in our communication, so you will find accessibility information for all parts of the programme when it is published. We still have a long way to go towards a fully accessible festival, but because we know that the FUTURE IS ACCESSIBLE and because we are aware that everyone* has different needs and preferences, we are open to any comments, suggestions and proposals.
In case you decide to visit our festival and taking your needs into consideration might seem like a hindrance, don’t be afraid to contact us, together we will come up with a solution for you. Everyone is welcome to join us.
Over the past two years we have covered topics such as universal design and inclusion. One of the results is the Design for All project.
