About talk:

Design for all or Design at all?

Zlín Congress Center Language: english

Ivelina Gadzheva will talk about Universal Design as a tool for opportunity development.
Simon Sinek said “If you don’t understand people you don’t understand business” she would say “if you don’t want to understand people you don’t want to understand life”. Design is all around us in one way or another – products, services, architecture, spaces, places etc. How we organize, how we perceive and respond to them and thus how we interact with each other as people. Design is not only making something beautiful it is also about making it meaningful. Universal Design and this lecture are about questioning, about expanding your circle of curiosity, about the design process. Ivelina will share some case studies from her practice (such as inclusive playground, wayfinding system, hub for social innovations) and will walk you through the Universal Design research phases.
