For whom is Conference intended?
Over the last few years, Zlin Design Week Conference focused mainly on the connection between design and marketing. However, this year it becomes a platform for exploring the specific needs of human diversity, the social and environmental impact of products and services, and new participatory ways of designing, observing, and teamwork. The historical context and the connection between design, education, business, and the public sector will be discussed. This year, there will be something for everyone – whether you are a student, an experienced designer, a freelancer, a company or a public sector representative, a culture manager, a creative person, or just someone who wants to broaden their horizons. We believe the Conference will bring inspiration even to those who are just about to discover the world of design.
In which language will be the Conference?
Our speakers are from the Czech Republic and abroad. The lecture blocks will therefore be held in Czech and English depending on the speaker’s origin. The speeches will be accompanied by a Czech moderator. Headsets for remote simultaneous interpreting will be available with no additional fee.
How will the final schedule look like?
A total of 7 speakers will speak at the Conference. The individual lecture blocks will be interspersed with scheduled coffee breaks and a lunch break. After the seven solo speeches, there will be a panel discussion. After the Conference, we invite you to an afterparty – a great place to meet other attendees, discuss the day and make countless new connections.
For whom is student discount intended?
We offer students the opportunity to buy a ticket at a lower price. The student discount is available for full-time students. The same conditions apply here as, for example, to the public transport discounts. Proof of academic status will be checked upon arrival at the venue. Eligibility can be proven by either showing an ISIC card or another confirmation verified by the official stamp and a signature provided by the school representative.
Where will I get my ticket?
The ticket will be sent via email to the address provided upon paying the tickets. Tickets can be purchased through the GoOut portal. If your ticket did not arrive or another problem occurred, please check the spam folder or contact us, and we will help you resolve the situation.
